If you are looking for a church home, we would like to invite you to visit First Presbyterian Church, Tacoma, this coming Sunday or during the week. We offer programs for the entire family, including Bible studies for men and women, youth and children's groups, musical groups, a Christian school (preschool-grade 5), Wednesday night family dinners, and much more.
We have two worship services on Sundays—one at 8:28 am, and one at 11:00 am (both in the main sanctuary). The 8:28 am service features worship songs led by our praise team with vocals, piano, guitar, and percussion. The order of worship includes words of welcome, a time for sharing prayer concerns and joys, a sermon, scripture, and more. The 11:00 am service features hymns accompanied by our chancel choir and pipe organ. The order of worship for the 11:00 am service includes an introit, responsive readings, scripture, a sermon, prayers, and special music by the chancel choir, bell choir, or other musical group.
